From coding to consciousness — Shashank’s journey is one of true inner awakening. A B.Tech graduate and senior software engineer, Shashank once lived the fast-paced corporate lifestyle. Outwardly successful, he quietly battled kidney stones, cervical spondylitis, and intense stress caused by years of sedentary work, excessive screen time, and mental pressure.
His turning point came when he discovered Yoga — not as a passing trend, but as a lifeline. What began as a search for relief became a path of profound transformation. Shashank didn’t just heal his body; he awakened his soul. He went on to complete a Master’s degree in Yoga, and immersed himself in the ancient sciences of Ayurveda, Vedic astrology, and holistic healing.
Today, together with his wife Aparna, he shares this powerful wisdom through The Vedic Show Podcast, inspiring and educating modern souls about sustainable, healthy living. Their mission is to guide others from burnout to balance, and to help people reconnect with inner peace, clarity, and their highest potential.
Aparna’s journey is rooted in a deep desire to understand the mind and heal the heart. As a child, she aspired to become a psychiatrist. This passion led her to pursue a degree in Psychology. But life had a more spiritual path in store. With the grace of the Divine and blessings of her Guru, she went on to complete her Master’s in Yogic Science and is now pursuing a Ph.D. in Yoga.
Raised in the sacred town of Rishikesh, Aparna grew up surrounded by spiritual energy and yogic traditions. She began her personal yoga practice in 10th grade, and over the years, yoga became more than just a practice — it became her path and purpose.
Since 2017, she has been teaching in various schools, blending the wisdom of yoga and psychology to help people understand themselves on a deeper level.
Aparna strongly believes that Yoga, Ayurveda, and Astrology — the ancient treasures of India — hold the power to transform modern life. If we apply these timeless sciences in our daily lives, we can create a state of true well-being — physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Together with her husband Shashank, Aparna co-hosts The Vedic Show Podcast, where they bring ancient wisdom into modern conversations. Through their podcast and transformational retreats, they are on a shared mission to guide people toward a healthier, happier, and more awakened life.
Priyanka Saran is an internationally certified yoga coach, holistic wellness mentor, and professional sound healing practitioner with over 5 years of experience in transforming lives through yoga and mindful living. A 500 RYT certified teacher from USA Yoga Alliance, Rishikesh, Priyanka combines traditional yogic wisdom with modern holistic healing practices.
She is a National Gold Medalist and Asian Bronze Medalist, and has been honored with the prestigious Iconic Yoga Coach Award 2024–2025 by the World Fitness Federation. Priyanka also serves as an Organiser Secretary with the World Fitness Federation of Yogasana Sports India (WFF).

Born and brought up in the spiritual town of Rishikesh, Vishal Kothiyal was raised in the serene environment of ashram life, where yoga, discipline, and spirituality became a natural part of his daily lifestyle from an early age. His journey into yogic science began with traditional teachings rooted in the authentic Himalayan yogic culture.
Vishal specializes in Classical Hatha Yoga and Hatha Yoga Flow, combining ancient yogic wisdom with mindful movement, breath awareness, and meditative practices. With more than 10 years of teaching experience, he has guided students from different countries toward physical wellness and inner transformation.

Aman Arya comes from a traditional Gurukul background, where he studied from childhood in the ancient Indian education system rooted in discipline, spirituality, Sanskrit learning, and yogic values. Growing up in the Gurukul environment helped him develop a deep understanding of traditional yoga, mindful living, and Vedic wisdom from an early age.
His teaching style reflects the authentic essence of classical Indian yoga blended with therapeutic and scientific understanding for modern lifestyles.
Education & Qualifications
Dr. Anupam Kothari is a dedicated scholar and practitioner in the field of Yogic Science with more than two decades of experience in yoga education, therapy, research, and holistic wellness. With deep roots in traditional yogic wisdom and academic excellence, he has contributed significantly to the promotion of yoga as a science of healthy living and human transformation.
He holds a Ph.D. in Yogic Science from Uttarakhand Sanskrit University under the guidance of Kamakhya Kumar, along with an M.Phil., M.Sc., and Postgraduate Diploma in Yogic Science. He also earned a B.Sc. in Yogic Science from Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University.
Over the years, Dr. Kothari has served as an Assistant Professor at several reputed institutions including Rishikesh Yog Dham Sansthan, Shri Jai Ram Sanskrit College, and Netcom Computer & Education affiliated with Uttarakhand Open University. He has also worked as Principal In-charge at Rishikesh Yog Dham Sansthan and founded organizations dedicated to education, yoga, and community upliftment.
His expertise includes Yoga Therapy, Shatkriya, Meditation Techniques, Yoga Philosophy, Counseling, Curriculum Planning, and Community Outreach. He has guided numerous students, professionals, and seekers through individual and group yoga sessions, therapeutic practices, and academic mentoring.
Dr. Anupam Kothari has presented lectures and research papers at national and international conferences organized by prestigious institutions such as PGIMER Chandigarh, AIIMS Rishikesh, BSF Academy Tekanpur, and the Indian Association of Yoga. His research work focuses on the physiological and psychological benefits of yoga, especially among students and youth.

She holds a postgraduate degree in Yogic Science and is also certified in Naturopathy and Yogic Science, bringing together traditional yogic wisdom and a holistic understanding of healing and well-being.
With more than five years of teaching experience in Hatha Yoga and Therapeutic Yoga, both online and offline, Taniya has guided students from diverse backgrounds with patience, clarity, and dedication. Her teaching goes beyond physical practice, as she thoughtfully integrates yogic philosophy, mindful awareness, and breathwork into every session.
Known for her supportive and nurturing approach, she creates a safe and uplifting space where each practitioner feels seen, encouraged, and empowered on their personal journey. Through personalized guidance and sincere commitment, Taniya helps students cultivate balance, inner strength, healing, and meaningful transformation in their lives.
With over 15 years of dedicated teaching experience, she has been serving at Shri Jairam Sanskrit College, Rishikesh since 2011, guiding students through the transformative path of yoga, holistic healing, and self-development. Deeply rooted in traditional yogic wisdom while embracing a modern therapeutic approach, she brings authenticity, compassion, and profound knowledge to her teachings.
She holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.), Master’s in Yogic Sciences (Yogacharya), and Master’s in English Literature. She is also UGC NET qualified and has completed her Ph.D. in Yoga with specialized research on “The Effect of Yogic Intervention on Haematological and Psychological Parameters of Cancer Patients.” Her academic and research background reflects a deep commitment to understanding yoga as both a spiritual discipline and a scientific tool for healing and transformation.
Her expertise extends across Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga, Therapeutic Yoga, Pranic Healing, Acupressure Therapy, and Sound Healing. As a compassionate healer and motivational speaker, she empowers individuals to cultivate physical well-being, emotional balance, inner strength, and conscious living through the timeless wisdom of yoga.

Our school infrastructure has been designed to support your practice in a distraction-free environment. Do remember, that we offer a basic and hygienic living, not five star luxury. As a yogi, you will be able to practice without any disturbances with basic amenities. The school ashram offers you dormitory arrangements, single and shared accommodation.
The school premises boasts vast gardens and well-ventilated yoga halls. You will be surrounded by the sounds of nature, as you practice yoga and meditation.
We also provide sattvic meals thrice daily to all our students. The menu is designed, so as to help you to focus on yogic lifestyle. We have the best chefs to prepare your meals.
We expect our students to practice basic cleanliness and hygiene, while staying at the property.
